Registration and your package
- Check the current year's registration notices and deadlines on the Bangladesh Hajj portal. Use the process that applies to Bangladeshi pilgrims; eligibility for overseas platforms varies by country.
- Confirm the agency's authorization and obtain a written breakdown of flights, hotels, food, transport and Mina–Arafat services. Ask about walking distances and room sharing, not only hotel stars.
- Keep registration receipts and payment records. Confirm cancellation terms and reporting instructions before paying.
Documents before departure
- Check passport validity against the latest entry rules. Names and dates must match across the passport, visa, tickets and registration.
- Carry confirmed booking records, required health certificates and your pilgrim identification. Keep secure paper and digital copies; do not post identity documents publicly.
Health and walking readiness
- Discuss your fitness with a doctor, especially if you have diabetes, heart disease or limited mobility. Check the current Saudi health requirements; vaccine rules can change each season.
- Build up walking gradually if your doctor agrees. Bring comfortable footwear, prescriptions and medicines in their original packaging, checking import restrictions first.
- Take shade and rest breaks. Follow your doctor's advice on fluids; seek medical help promptly for dizziness, confusion or severe weakness.
Learning the rites
- Attend a preparation session and learn the sequence of your chosen Hajj type with a qualified scholar: ihram, the days in Mina and Arafat, Muzdalifah and the remaining rites.
- Ask about personal circumstances before travel: illness, mobility needs and any religious questions. A general checklist is not a substitute for an individual ruling.
Budget, group and arrival
- Separate the package cost from personal purchases and emergency funds. Check permitted foreign-currency and card arrangements with your bank.
- Save the group leader's number and hotel location offline. Agree on a meeting point, follow crowd-control directions and confirm flight baggage limits directly with the airline.
